Why are you selling right after break in? Is the head gasket brand new or the one that was used during break in? Are the ARP studs brand new or were they also used?

It wasn't just broken in. The block has somewhere between 10k and 15k miles on it. This was installed by the previous owner of my RS but with phase 1 RS heads on it and a hacked harness... I was going to find heads/intake manifold to put on it, but at this point it will be much easier for me to buy the y2kimports swap kit that will have ALL the parts I need such as the engine cradle, wiring, and ECU.

The break in was not JUST done, it was done 10k to 15k miles ago.

Headgasket and ARPs that are included are the original ones that the motor was broken in on.

I may not have explained the situation well...

I bought an RS which ran on a standalone and couldn't pass inspection. Its a 98 RS with the axis short block, t3/t4 turbo, and 98 DOHC heads.

My goal is to fix all the wiring in the car and make it pass inspection.

At first I was going to try to located all the OEM STI parts to finish outfitting the block with therefore allowing me to run an OEM STI ECU which would pass inspection. That now appears to be a huge pain in the ass compared to just buying a complete swap kit with all the tiny misc parts I need included.

So, this short block is for sale (as are the RS heads if someone wants to drop this into their RS)
