Default B & B Auto Paint & Body ???

Has anyone had work done at this shop. I had a guy pull out in front of me and smashed the entire front end of my Legacy. It is sitting at this shop and they dont think it is a total loss (I disagree completely).

If they do decide to repair it I wonder how good these people are.

Are they making the determination for your insurance company? If not, I'd insist on having an agent come check the vehicle instead. If they insist on repairing it, you're usually within your rights to ask the insurance company to use a dealer-supported body shop or at the very least all OEM parts.

I will have to double check with them but it sounds like the shop will make the decision. If that is the case I will have my insurance send an agent to go look at it.

i have never heard of a body shop getting the call if its totaled. its always been an agent for me (ive been in my fair share of accidents). the agent may work with the body shop to get it disassembled and determine it from there, but its always been the agents call as far as i know

yeah I'm pretty sure this is correct as it's your insurance company that has to pay for the loss.....or the repairs.

was there alot of frame damage you think? airbags deployed? and if the front end was smashed in I'm assuming the engine had to have had some damage. but ya never know what they can fix these days! haha

dang that right there would have totaled it probably haha, but I guess now it just depends on how much the car's value is and how much damage there is. hope all turns out well man sucks!

if it's totaled are you gonna go with another legacy or impreza or what would you do?
