Default 04 STI hubs same as 03 WRX hubs?

Is the 04 STI hubs (both front and rear) same as the 03 WRX hubs?

Meaning, will 03 WRX axles slide into 04 STI hubs and vice versa?

You mean the front hubs are the same, but the rear is not?

What about the axles? I know rear brakes won't bolt up right away, but curious about whether 04 STI axles from the R180 diff will bolt right up to 02-03 WRX hubs.

The splines are different on both the front and the rear between the 04 STI and 03 WRX?

No, only the rear. The fronts are the same. There is nothing different in the front knuckle assembly from the wrx. They are identical.

Default just to add to this ****ty mess

I got a 2003 wrx.
I got the brembo brakes from a 2004 STI
the front brembo calipers bolted straight into the original front spindles on the WRX.
The rear ones, needed an adapter.
So I got an adapted from Godspeed in the UK.
The adapter bolted on to the rear backing plate, and the caliper bolted on to the adapter.
The adapter also comes with taller shoes to reach the bigger diameter of the brembo rotors.
I later decided to get the knuckles from a 2003 JDM STI.
the front ones were identical to the WRX.
The rear ones, would bolt right up, but according to the shop, the original WRX axles wouldn't reach/fit.
Also the shop said something about the parking brakes not reaching the brembo diameter either. So I'm thinking the 2003 JDM STI did NOT use brembo brakes but instead used the subaru 2pot setup which comes with rotors smaller than the brembos.

Whatever the case, I know for a fact that the rear 2004 USDM STI knuckles will bolt onto a 2003 USDM WRX, my question is: do I need to change the axles too? what about the differential?
So one hope I have is that maybe the 2003 JDM STI rear knuckles and the 2004 USDM STI knuckles are indeed different and maybe the 2004 USDM STI knuckles WILL fit my WRX without any problems.
