Tuned at Turboxs by Jermaine

Weather was 60 degrees a bit wet overcast

The car was tuned at Turboxs in Maryland so its a couple of hundred feet above sea level, Jermaine is the tuner. Jermaine ran into several boost issues,so he Mcgyvered my solenoids from my failing Blitz controller and finally got the boost under control. He outdid himself on this one though, but that should come as no surprise to those who know him. Andrew came through as always and stepped the engine building process, so the car was only down for a couple of weeks, once again Andrew, Sam and Dan stood behind their work. Brandon the resident "mad scientist" came up with his usual tricks and the mani he made is the real deal. Once I can get the dyno plot posted you will see why Doug and I use Andrewtech and Turboxs. Andrew has just finished Doug's motor ,so he's next

The Car made 629 whp with peak power @ 7248 rpms and 513 torque @6058 rpms. I left the car with Jeramine because he wanted to fiddle with the tune a bit, so I will pick it up this week and then off to the track. I know is been a while since I have driven a fast car, but trust me its frickin fast.

I'd like to add that this is a standard GT35R that has not been "HTA'd". Boost was 29psi.

i was just gonna pm you and DEF and see what was up, havent heard from either of you in a while.

the "almost" 10 second twins.

seemed like you guys were always pushing each other.

nice build. I hated my Blitz sbc-id with a passion. go ebcs+mbc and you'll get better control for $150 than the $600 for the blitz pos.

I'll call a 10.999999 with the new build

Man that car was fast enough before. Glad to see Andrewtech and TurboXS is still putting out high horsepower cars, but that is expected. Nice numbers!

A 10.9 with me driving? I think I will have to throw the keys to Doug on that one I really did like the Blitz never had a problem with it before this.

Very nice.

Also, I just wanted to warn you, there is a new dictated format for PPB threads. It is stickied at the top of the forum. Someone will probably come along and lock the thread until you add the info. Just wanted to give a heads up.

what is your compression ratio on the hybrid?

Do you like that ignition amplifier? Did you have spark blow out?

best of luck on ten's, you sure do deserve it.

Really don't know about the ignition amp. The reason we used it was because we were having a rev problem on my first motor that turned out to be a crank sensor issue. As for the compression ratio I have no idea, but I did a test before we tuned and it was 170 to 172 all around.

Also I might add, that this made about the same power on less boost than the previous set-up using the EXACT same turbo.

I might go to cecil friday night. I've been wanting to go to the track before the end of the year, I tried to make it to Atco last week, but ran into trailer trouble on the way.

I'd like to see the cars run. I saw both of yours last year I think.

My car isn't ready yet (but I'm stepping up a little to an HTA3582, )... so this will be just for the Wagon... but we are 90% sure we'll be at Cecil Friday @ 5:00pm. When we hit 10's, we stop... so lets hope its a mid to low 10 for good measure and now low 11 crap to get us booted
