Just a suggestion - find a Harley shop (or probably just about any motorcycle shop) and ask them where they get stuff powdercoated. Powdercoating is much bigger in the motorcycle world than in the automobile world, since they can easily do an entire bike frame. Anyway, that's how I found a place here in CT - my body shop told me to check with the Harley shop down the street, and they referred me to a place in Windsor.

That was my first thought, too, but there weren't nuttin' in my yellow pages. I even tried do an on-line yellow pages search for all of CT and didn't have any luck.

I work at a car and motorcycle repair shop and my boss doesn't know of any place local. As for the phone book, I wanted to know if anyone could reccomend a place. Oh well, I'll keep looking.

If you can't find any place local... you could borrow my snows until your rims are done. They're just sitting in a pile right now waiting for some flakes

That is really very nice of you. Maybe I should just leave them gold after all? I had many friends try and talk me out of making them silver over the weekend. I looked closely at my local phone book and the nearest place is in CT so I really don't know if it would work out. Thanks for offering.

Mara,

If you have gold RS rims, I'm sure someone would trade you for their silver rims. It seems like I've seen a lot of posts from people looking for the gold ones.

You would however be without rims in the interim.
