I'd cut/resize them myself, but trimming the bottom would take off the logo.
Trim them from the top and re-drill the mounting holes.

I actually thought of that after I posted this. I may go that route. Just have to make sure I align the holes right.

All the hardware is in use though. So wouldn't having to re-use all the plastic clips be pushing it as far as durability goes? Double threaded plastic seems like it could break the threads and not hold well.

Here's a pretty cool pic I got of my RA's.

They look like they hang WAY low is this pic but they are actually higher up. They still hang too low for my liking, but the protection they offer allows me to deal with it, haha.

Did this today. I actually didn't trim the top at all. Just cut new mounting holes 2 inches lower, and re-mounted them.

Now they're kinda "adjustable" lol, with 2 sets of mounting holes.

That's a great idea, I wish I'd thought of that before I mounted mine.
I wonder how high we can go and still get full protection. Let us know when you hit your first big mud-hole.

Well I only adjusted and made new mounting holes for the rear flaps. For some reason they were way lower than the front. I figured the rear ones don't really have much to "protect" much besides the rear bumper, so a 2 inches shorter won't make much of a difference.

I don't do actual rally events so I don't need to worry about gravel and rocks flying at other cars.

The fronts do offer great protection though. Couldn't hear nearly as many rocks pinging off the side of my car on gravel roads recently. Plus they keep ALOT of dirt/dust off my car. Since I've put them on, my car hasn't gotten any dirtier and I still go on a few gravel roads every day.

Edit: and I only got the basic flaps (plastic). I can only imagine how nice the urethane ones are. Rubber-like material right? I just didn't have $150 to spend.

I spent ~$25 at NAPA on a single truck flap, cut it in quarters, rounded the corners, and mounted them up. They're giant, and even jumping into a mud puddle at Oregon Trail Rally and spinning the tires, I barely even got splatter on the car. The wheels, however, are still filled with the dirt two months later.

Great coverage because of how far out they stick, but unfortunately you have to be mindful of curbs when parallel parking. My dad ripped one of them off once.

Does the 2012 wrx 5dr have predrilled mounting holes and will the 2011 wrx Rokblock flaps mount up without drilling?

Thanks for the helpful response. I contacted RA with this question and they suggested the same fix... I now have them loose enough for me to pull/reposition the flaps, and i have bent the L Bracket in slightly (measured inner and outer spacing from tire to check that it's perfectly parallel.) It's been this way for over a month, and still have just as much curl. Going to give it some more time, then follow up.

A guy in my complex has these. I never even heard of them until I googled after seeing them on his car.

They do look really nice. I have RA and they're all warped and my car isn't even that low. I should make the switch. How long have you had them on? Any warping or twisting?

I like those a lot, first I've heard of them. RA was just first instinct, didn't even think to look for something else. If/when I need to replace, I know what I'm looking for.

it's worth mentioning though that they are 10.5" wide vs. the RA UR which are 8" wide. Some people already think the RA are too wide..

I'm debating between the mudflap companies..do any of them not require modification for installation for an 07 wagon?

Any of the flaps that come with precut holes in the right place for the '07 should do. Personally its really not that hard to line a new flap up to the old mudguard and just drill your own holes where you want them. That's what I did with my 18-wheeler flaps.

I'd spend the extra on the URs, they're a lot better quality.
