Default Anyone in the Portland, Or area?

So I am driving up that way next week to check out a couple Grad Programs, one is an Archaeology Masters Program at Portland State, and the other is a Historic Preservation program at Oregon Uni in Eugene. And since Ill be comming alone, anyone have any recommendations of places to see and things to do? And most of all...where are all the single ladies at?

There's a University of Oregon in Eugene, but I've never heard of this Oregon Uni. Maybe that place is willing to accept people that can't spell 'coming'.

Into a Masters Program, no less.

Thinking about the future makes my mouth say "sigh" and my head say "oi."

Seek tirelessly for skateparks wherein trolls would dwell. Spur your mighty steed onward up yon vert. Recordeth and posteth ere with haste.

my dad lives in the southeast (hippie) section of town. nice area. wish it wasn't dreary so ****ing often .

crater lake, multnomah falls, the columbia river gorge, the three sisters, mt. hood, mt. tabor (iirc, the only extinct volcano within a city in the u.s.), a million microbrew pubs, catch a flick at the baghdad theater, saturday market in downtown (if it's still going on this time of year), go to the coast, go on one of a million possible hikes, go shopping (no sales tax).
