Smile FINALLY the STI is in the 12's!

Not by much, but Im there! I found a massive boost leak the other day where a clamp came lost on the Throttle body and TMIC coupler, fixed it, reset ecu and the next day went to Beaver Springs Raceway which is in PA. I was running good all day. I lined up to a 1998 Camaro with slicks and 333hp. I am at about 310hp 345lbs tq on stock turbo. For my stock turbo without launching the car I am pretty excited. I slipped the clutch at 4800k and went...

mods:
-K&N drop in
-Greddy Evo 2 Catback Exhaust
-Invidia Down Pipe (Both with no cats)
-Walbro 255 Fuel Pump
-Custom CBRD Tune

-GFB BPV

I am car 3 (lucky number)

The guy then proceeded to tell me he won and threw a bunch of numbers at me to prove it, yeah the video doesn't lie chief

I recommend not arguing with those guys. I won't 'profile' but there are certain vehicle types who's drivers are just (not referring to this one specifically). I don't talk to them, just a respectful nod and I continue on my way. Then again I'm usually the only Subaru guy at the track when I go, with HUNDREDS of muscle cars and a very small handful of 16-17sec Hondas.

Most subaru drivers fit the bill for this particular type of profiling....just saying.

As someone already stated the Camaro won despite being a slower car. So technically the Camaro driver is correct.

Oh yeah I know that but it was just a fun track day for a charity and this guy was giving everyone crap. I did basically what you implied. I just waved and said nice run. I dont understand how it has more hp and some torque and didnt get a better time though? If it was based on numbers he def would of won but I wasnt taking it that seriously lol It was a good day but thanks for the advice of just a nod, I will be doing that from now on
