Once we get it back together I will set up the AEM BCS and I can bet we will see some more RPM gains on spool.

Great numbers. Really smooth and quick to rise and hang.

Wishing you a commendable conclusion here. No one is pleased about redo's. Keep us posted. Cool that you are taking it in stride.

Well, surprisingly enough, and they will disagree, but my vf43 100 octane graph which was erased during the drive clean up and recalibration looked identical to johns. When the kinks are worked out of this motor, no doubt it will shine with this and larger turbo's. But for the stocker, this motor literally meant dick in terms of power and holding it out.

I made 389.5@ 5200 and held 351 at 7100-7200 (last season).

If there is argument to be made, just look at our track results, close to identical with the same trap speeds and only 1.5 tenths difference in ET. (I know John, gotta be those 07 gears )

But like I said, when all worked out, turbo to turbo my car should not perform as well as John's, and I wish him a lot of luck and pray its his last time with the motor out. I also commend him on listing his failures. Its far and few between when people in here admit to troubles and mishaps.

I can PM you my pump graph if you would like.

If I find time tonight I'll go to the shop and print a overlay out for you.

I'm starting to think that my VF39 was super laggy because of the AVCS.

Doesn't matter now

I cant believe your still ignorant... If i can only get that graph back.

Besides that, do what you should do. Put everything back to stock and sell the car. Enjoy the fact that you make good money for someone in their mid 20's and have a terrific, smart, and hardworking girlfriend.

Get rid of your problems and enjoy life with her. I built my motor once. I will only build my motor once. I almost dont even want to tune it, im just enjoying driving it reliably. If it breaks, Im DONE. No cat and mouse for me. I have been blessed with good luck for the last 5 yrs of driving these cars. When the lucks out, so am I.

Who cares about that graph?
That graph you keep talking about is with your car dead cold on the dyno, and your car only made that power once! You could never get it to do it again!

Just stop the transmission talk, you make yourself look like a dumbass.

I went into this knowing all this crap could happen, so I'm not selling my car or going back to stock.

No, hot actually. I just remembered I have a vid of that dyno sesh. Ill post it up when I find it. It made 380-390 a few times over. Doesnt matter though, the traps were no different going from 390-367.

Relax dude. Just get it done and get back on the dyno then if thats what you want to do. I cant blame you, but these happenings are making you miserable and your acting like an asshol, especially towards me last night.

I want you to have success with the car, and I feel bad. If it was the other way around, you would laugh in my face...

The wire can seat in the test connector TWO ways, but only can mate 1 way. You took that out of context and now I'm stupid.......

Can we all go back to stg 2 and barhopping.............PLEEEEEEEEEEZ

I'm pretty sure it can't, but at the same time it only takes 30 seconds to figure which way it goes, not rocket science.

No, your stupid because you think you need to Enable FLASH MODE to reset the dam computer !!!!!!!

Too bad about the car though. Been in this situation multiple times and came to the realization that a house was more important at my age.

Ive never connected the testers to reset my ECU with ecutek???? I wanted to connect them to flash my other map in last night, but the female connector came loose. There are two ports on the connector that look identicle.

Now, Im someone who has never had it happen. So, instead of just guessing at which port may work, and possibly causing risk to the ECU, i left it alone and had you look at it.

Im dumb, I didnt know so I asked. How do i know if the ECU can or cant fry from seating the wires incorrectly

John, you win. Hope everything works out for you, but i wont comment again, or get invovled with your mess. Call me when your track ready so I can show what stock heads and cams can do to you............

you guys better be friends or i'm going to kick both of your asses !

It get's really personaly really easy when it comes to cars and friends and what's going on with what car and why it won't run. Trust me I know first hand, but you guys need to get along anyway.

STimikey and builtsti are both great guys(don't know builtsti nearly as well) but it sucks that both of you have had this motor trouble(if I read right builtsti has been having problems with his built block for a while now)

that's great to put down 457 on just 22psi on that turbo; it's not even close to happy at 22psi...more like 28 and you will be over 500 Best of luck !!

IMO this exact situation is why most larger turbo (52 lb/min++) subies arent running really really fast.

Before everyone blows their first motor and their playing dyno or no dyno, the answer is always "dyno bro, dyno" or "lets go kill mode"

After the motor blows it becomes "no dyno bro" and "lets go grandma mode"

Whenever im sitting at the line im always asking myself "is this trip down the track to try for that 11.99 worth another $5000?"
