I bogged it down to like 1.5k RPM's, figured I was gonna lose anyways, so just left the clutch out, and waited for spool, and waited...... and waited....

lol thats pretty awesome. i spotted a full second to a z car on reaction time and was able to catch/pass him despite rolling off the line (2.1 60 ft). unfortunately it was the only run all night that my friends didnt get on video ![]() the middle slip Last edited by eb_rat_7; 11-05-2009 at 12:52 PM. |

wow- thats an awesome trap for those mods. have you ever dyno'd your car? that meth kit must really help lower the temperature of the intake charge with that turbo on a stock IC. does the IC stay pretty cool after passes or does it heatsoak even with the meth?
it took me a minute to find what i was looking for, but this is the first thing i thought of when i read your thread title... (sorry for the thread jack) |

It's was just a completely stock/original carbureted 427, so it's not that fast, power/weight wise. Guy was really nice. Said he missed 3rd. He still trapped 100mph. His wife took the video. Couldn't believe I caught him.

Apparently no one has heard of a "delay box" also thats an awful lot of mods for a 13.3 pass. Decent mph, but pretty bad ET's. Is that your best ET? |
