Default Tapping the turbo outlet?

I havethe Ludespeed stage III kit, and am messing around with boost controllers. Right now my wsategate is getting it's signal from the intake manifold. I think it would be a better set up if I was to tap the turbo outlet and get a pressure signal from there, like on most other turboed motors.

Has anyone tried this before?

I think it might be easier to tap the elbow pipepiece between the IC and the turbo. That was if I screw up I only mess up a peice of steal piping!!

first off, external wastegates should be connected after the TB.

Second, what boost controller? MBC, or EBC?

Third, don't go punching holes in the turbo, there is a little square screw sticking out from the side of the turbo outlet. Remove that, go to autozone, and get a hose fitting for it. That screw is blocking an outlet that is designed for an internal wastegate's signal source.

1.That's what I thoght, but sombody told me otherwise.

2.I haven't decided yet. Any suggestions?

3.I don't have a square screw sticking out of my turbo. It's a T3/T4 from the Ludespeed kit.

1) External wastegates use 2 sources, and the pressure feed should come from after the TB. Internal wastegates go before the TB.

2) Not sure, use an EBC. I had a profec A, didn't work, so I wouldn't recommend that.

3) Really? That's bizzar, I haven't heard of a single turbo without that port.
