the sti bars are longer than the wrx ones.

they are not going to fit perfectly...you might have to install them differently.

maybe someone who has done this will chime in...or go search the suspension forum I've read about this but forgot how to make it work.

did you get stock sti bars?

Stock 02 WRX and STi sway bars are the same diamater 20mm F&R. What's the point? I know that rear end links are different between a WRX and STi.

Edit: Did you by chance get the STi "pink" 21mm sways for WRX?

I think you can use oem endlinks, but it's always recommended to go aftermarket endlinks to take full advantage of the sways. You should also consider the 04/05 rear sway mounts as mentioned above, as they are more reinforced than the wimpy 02 ones (that's what I did, 04/05 rear mounts, cusco21mmF/22mmR/kartboy endlinks). But stock endlinks should work fine no problem, I don't see why they wouldn't work.

yes, the mounts are a direct bolt one for the 02/03 models, they are from 04+ models, which got a beefier set. Here's where I got mine, not a bad price. For aftermarket heavy duty mounts you're looking at 100$+, but these will work fine with those sways.

you know your stock bars are 20f/20r right? you only went up 1mm

but yeah everything will bolt up, you can always upgrade the rear sway bar mounts later on.
