History:
The primary use for the car was as a daily commuter (14 miles round trip).
The only mechanical failure was a cracked turbo oil line due to a manufacturing weakness. It was covered under warranty and they also replaced the turbo (they were concerned it may have been starved of oil due to the leak). This was performed at 42,965 miles (1/7/08). So just a little over 21K miles on the turbo. I still have the paperwork for this.

I do all my own maintenance and have all my records. All recommended services are up to date.

The car was taken on track a few times for some non-competitive track days. Never had an off or any issues on track. I went to 6 events total. As a result of the heat in the brakes, the calipers have turned a golden brown color. This is only cosmetic. No issues, no leaking. The car was not thrashed on track. I always concentrated on being smooth and took very good care of the car before and after events.

The car was also used for autocross for roughly 1 season. Again, no issues as a result.

The only major flaw on the car is a dent on the right rear quarter panel. This occurred the first time I was backing up my motorcycle trailer. Apparently it can make contact with the car when cutting at sharp angles It happened at ~2mph. I don't believe it would cost much to repair but I just haven't taken the time to do it. Purely cosmetic damage.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Nate

No I haven't. It honestly hasn't bothered me all that much so I just left it alone.

Im very interested in this car. I do paint and bodywork at a well known high end private shop here in my area. Is that black on the bumper some marred plastic on the top coat, or is it actually damaged and going to need repainting ?. I cant really tell from that pic if its just something on the top coat and would buff out, of its its actual damage to the plastic. none of that is a big deal though.all very repairable .

Id estimate around 5-6 hours of bodywork to get that dent repaired.than prep time, spray time and paint costs. Just to give you an idea, to get that qp back to looking perfect at the shop I work at would be around 700. than remove door handle and molding, to prep, blend the paint and reclear the rear door (highly recommended since that is such a heavy metallic paint) would be another 200.and to do a bit of repair, blend and reclear the rebumper would be another 200, looks like theres a bit of damage to the rear bumper that would need repair and since its on that side would be blended and recleared as well. so around 1100 to do it the right way. of course you could not blend the rear door, or not to do the bumper to save some money ,but than you risk having color matching problems.and thats a lose lose for both parties. the damage to this car is not a big deal at all though. very minor.

I'll have to take a closer look and get back to you about the black mark. I haven't examined it all that close to tell you the truth. I'm thinking it would need to get repainted though.
