Default Need: VTD center diff and transfer clutch details

Can anyone give me the specifics (part number? manufacturer? detailed mechanical details or specifications?) on the VTD-AWD center differential on the 4EAT WRX?

My hunch is that it's a TrueTrac from TracTech, but I'm not sure of it. I'm not sure who manufactures the variable clutch pack, either.

I have some oscilloscope plots of the transfer duty clutch solenoid that I'd like to correlate with mechanical behavior before I give the data to everyone. I will say that it's a 10Hz PWM waveform, but I need to check my grounds because I'm getting some weird transition states.

(edit: Note, this is specifically for the 4EAT WRX.)

I'll see what I can find out.

Thumbs up

Thanks Jorge...

My big questions are:

1) Bias ratio and other details on the planetary diff.

2) Where the inputs/outputs are set up on the diff.

3) Where, in relation to the transaxle and the diff is the electro-hydraulic clutch pack?

4) What are the reasonable limits within which the electrohydraulic pack can be driven? Should it always be kept between 10 and 90% pressure levels, or can it exceed those?

5) How is the solenoid driving the clutch pack? I'd imagine that the solenoid is merely controlling a pressure valve inside the transaxle which regulates the pressure exerted upon the ram in the clutch pack, but any details would be helpful.
