Default 2007 STI turned out nicely! 320whp/380wtrq

Normally I don't get all excited about a tuned 2007 STI but I'll share this one. It came to us with what I was told were basic bolts-ons (TBE, SRI, etc). Had an AP that I pulled off in favor of opensource since the owner didn't care about multiple maps etc. We also added a 3-port BCS.

I later found out that the car had forged drop-in pistons. Normally, this nets a little more compression, thus not quite as much ignition advance needed. My guess is that they went with thicker headgaskets as it needed quite a bit of timing compared to most stock piston STIs.

Keep in mind that we run quite a bit of boost in the mid-range on our tunes. We taper down to stay efficient though. The blue line was our final pull. Enjoy!

hahaha no hard feelings!

I hate it when working on cars I don't know what's been done to it. Some will run higher compression pistons... then we try to tune with typical stg2 boost levels with typical timing numbers and we can't on pump.

It really is important to know the mods done to the car and especially making sure it has no leaks or blown gaskets. Hopefully they don't change anything after the tune, it could throw off the tune.
