urban Silver?

Question Pls Help with this Modded STi I brought

I brought this car http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=1407584
but have very little information about it.
I'm needing to know the spec on it as the tune is not right for the car and is running like crap. P&l can't even tune it cause I don't know what cams or the compression ratio.

Anyone with any info on this car or how to get a hold of the last owner or builder please let me know. As I've tried to get a hold of them and have had no luck....

Thanks for your help...

I cannot believe a cobb tuner can't tune this without knowing ALL the mods. You have enuff info for someone to start the tune and then go from there. It sounds like whatever shop you are talking to just doesn't want to mees with it because it might be a challenge and not some wham-bam easy tune.

the thread you posted had all the mods...more then enough to start somewhere the old tunners might no something about the car that they want to stay away from it.

^^ possibly but even if it does have some issues any reputable shop should be able to sort them out for a fee.

Thanks for all the responses!

MattD87: Your right it is Chris from EFIlogics; I've tried getting specific engine build info from him, but he never came to the phone; I may try him again, he and the previous owner would be ones with the answers.

IIDiceII: I got a Good deal ;-)

SubaruNV: So far so good....It badly needs a tune, otherwise it runs well. I've put about 3K miles on it, planning on getting a mild tune, am using it as my DD.

john 1badSTI: I was planning on having Jorge at P&L tune it, but I was told he needed to know what the cams were to properly tune it.

If anyone can put me in touch with Bill or Chris, Please help me out!
Thanks

Not always true.. sometimes you can actually save ALOT of money buying a fully modded car, but you have to do ALOT of research and the seller has to be willing to give you all the info about the car. Usually you can tell by talking to a person what type of person he/she is, and you can judge how they may have drove the car (hard or not)..
For example my buddy bought a fully built APS TT 350Z with fully built motor, etc. from an older man (~mid 40's) and low mileage on the car. Everything was in perfect condition, no dents, chips, etc..
IMO this is the type of stuff you need to do to make sure you dont get screwed over. Do this and you can actually save money, only thing that sucks is you dont get to pick the mods..
