Long time Subaru admirer finally gets his - 2010 WRX 5dr SWP

As if you can't tell by the registration date, I wanted a Subaru awhile ago. Didn't quite fit the budget last time around and I slowly faded away from here. The pieces finally came together over this past weekend and now I can join the club.

Coming from a 94 integra gs-r with 180k miles on it, it was a world of a difference.

I'll admit I originally wanted the dark grey, but the white has definitely grown on me to the point where I'm happy it's what I ended up with.

That is a SEXY color. Lol. I've owned a few subaru's but, as soon I as get some stuff paid off, I'll have a 2010 in SWP.

Or if I can hold off until 2011, I'm hoping they will redesign it.

If the design is awful, I'm going to get what I've always wanted: 07 STI!

Mine is a base model as well, and I can tell you I waited for about a month and a half for the dealership to finally find this one. The only options on it were the auto dimming mirror and the trunk cargo tray. I had them add a short shifter and the fog lights.

They were telling me that there were only about 10 hatches currently available in the nation when I bought mine.

True, I was just saying I'm a new subaru owner with a 2010. I was looking at WRB hatch, but there were none to be found, so I took this one.

I too was looking for a base hatch, only 1 in Florida.....So I took the sedan and am loving it.
