I'll get some more pics up this week. It's been busy.

This will be used for various events. Some regional rallies, some RA, and likely some NASA. This also will fit under M4 class Rallycross regs so theres a good chance it will be making appearances there as well.

^ RallyX is good stuff for practice and for your sponsors . Hell, if someone payed for my entry into Rally-Xs, gas, and replacement tires, I'd paint my entire car in their logo.

Great looking cage so far, your builder definitely knows what he's doing.

I tried on a few Stilo helmets on at PRI last December. They're probably the nicest helmet you can buy. I'm saving my pennies for one...on second thought, she have a sister?

She apparently wasn't happy with "good" and is offering to get me an even nicer Stilo now.

There are arguments for and against full face helmets. Heat being one of them. I actually prefer full face myself anyways. The integrated drinking system is very nice too.

Oh and yes she does have a sister haha but I don't think she's quite so supportive of rally. Her sister is more about big diesel trucks.

The helmet is so nice I'm considering never taking it off. I can replace the drinking tube with a feeding tube.... talk through the intercom system...

I'll be the Subaru version of The Stig.

Thanks man. I'm really happy with the TIGs. Andrew is an artist with a welder.

Sorry for the lack of updates. Things are progressing. I'll get some more pics up a little later.

In other news I picked up an EJ257 shortblock. Needs some work but should do nicely. It looks like we'll be running a hybrid motor after all. In even better news, I just got off the phone with the Sparco rep. Good things coming my way soon...

Hub is also on the way as well as the 490nr side mount

Stay tuned for more!

Just curious, but about how much money goes into this car?

ALL OF IT!!!!!

Realistically you can look to sink about $30-40k to build an open class car. It can go way north of that as well. Other teams can build it for less using cheaper brands.

Seats are at the shop. Going to NY for final fitment and welding next week.

I might have an awesome garage to work on the GC in from time to time at my girlfriend's place now.

Tons and tons of tools, air compressor, all sorts of welding equipment (on the other side of the trailer), big roof mounted chain pulley, and more. To make it even better you can drive out the front of the shop, and instead of turning left to go back down to the road, turn right and there there is the equivalent of a private ~1.5-2 km gravel rally special stage. This includes sharp turns, straight-aways, long sweeping turns, trees, and fields This place is bad ass. Hopefully I'm given permission to use it.

We went for a ride tonight to test the "stage" out and it was absurdly fun even on RE070s. It feels like it has been years since I've driven aggressively on gravel and felt fantastic to shake the cobwebs off.

More updates very soon!
