Seems kind of expensive/ Is that what they go for? Is does have low miles though.

Go for it, no MAF problems.

The price seems fair but, it's about $2000 more than I want to spend right now. I was really looking for an OBS with at least a 2.2 liter in it.

The RS is not for sale as of yet I will find out friday. If I don't go for it I will let whoever know where to find it if there is any interest.

Dave,

If I was in the market for an RS, I'd consider that a great price for a limited-edition model. If you do blow the headgaskets, at least it should be under warranty for the next year or so.

But if you're holding out for a 2.2L, then it might be harder to find one with low miles. Not impossible, though, but 5-speeds are very rare on the used market.

Wayne,

Thanks for reminding me about that whole phase 1 motor issue. If it blows will subaru replace the block with a phase II? How about what happen to Pat Olsen? I would also guess that a turbo would be a bad idea as well.

My Blue rally pearl '99, with 53,500 miles, is getting traded in at Colonial Subaru this Saturday. It still has STi ver5 struts and Eibach Pro kit springs on it. If there is any interest, you should give them a call.

Yeah,

I guess that is a fair price. I was basing it on the fact that Jude was selling a 98 with 30K for $10,900.

Are you sure you want an OBS with a 2.2L? I heard the 1.8's kick ass. But, you didn't hear it from me.

-Edwin

ps: Pete, you still haven't sold your wagon? Give me a call sometime today. I might be able to help you out.

Edwin, I haven't tried selling my wagon yet. I want to have the REX in hand before I do. For some unforseen circumstance I don't get it, I would be screwed without a car. But, thanks for the offer. I may have to take you up on that if I do need help.

1st or 2nd week in May.

Exeter couldn't get me a silver wagon in the second allocation. That's why I hesitated signing up for the track event.
