Default Have accessport on my wrx running stage 1 gonna upgrade to stage 2 some questions

I have an 06 wrx and i have a cobb catback exaust the cobb intake and i have the accessport running stage 1. I should have enough money in a month to buy the cobb catted downpipe so I can upgrade to stage 2. My dad is gonna pay for the installation so thats covered and then once its installed im gonna reflash my ecu to stage 2. Stage 1 is working good on my car and its really quick and im pushing about 14.8 psi which if im not mistaken is a little more than its supposed to for stage 1. I had just the cobb catback and intake without any ecu modification for a long time and it just wasn't enough power for me so i saved up money for the accessport but i didn't have enough to get the downpipe as well at the time so I could only do stage 1. Stage 1 satisfied me for a while, but now ive been running stage 1 for about 8 months and Ive gotten used to the power and Its not satisfying enough anymore and im hungry for more power. I only need like 100 more dollars to get the downpipe so i should be able to order it in two weeks when i get my next paycheck. Once i flash my ecu to stage 2 am i gonna feel a difference like i did when i flashed it to stage 1 from no ecu modification. I mean is stage 2 a noticable difference from stage 1. I hope so cuz I don't nearly have enough money to go to the next stages upgrade the turbo to a VF 39 or 18G which will mean i have to do other modifications to my engine such as fuel system, Sti top mount intercooler like it says i need for the bigger turbo maps and other things I need etc... in order to support the bigger turbo. I asked cobb tuning what i needed to do to support the bigger turbo's and use those maps they suggested i should get my car professionally tuned so I dun have nearly enough money for that but that will be something I will def do at some point in the future seeing that eventually i will prob get used to stage 2 and crave more power just as i did after running stage 1 for a while. All I need to know is will I feel a decent amount of more power upgrading to stage 2 from stage 1. I hope so so im satisfied till i have enough money to do the professional tuning. I also got some cool gagues and a clock pod to put to put the gagues in that i already ordered so that should satisfy my need for a cooler interior look. So if there is a noticable difference from stage 1 to stage 2 ill be happy cuz ill have a new cool interior look with the gagues and ill be going faster. The best zero to sixty time i got using the zero to sixty timer on the accessport while running stage 1 was 4.9 seconds. So i hope theyll be a big difference when i upgrade to stage 2 so I can compete with even more cars then i can now. I raced my friends 1984 mustang 5.0 the other day and completely killed him. It was a total destruction i just flew past him and he couldn't catch up. I have good driving technique and im good at getting the most amount of power and speed from my car. I can get better zero to sixty and quarter mile times than other people when i drive my car. Me n my friends took turns doing zero to sixty and quarter mile times with the accesport since i upgraded to stage 1 on this straight road that goes straight for 2 miles no turns and its good for racing at nite no cars and no cops on it. Ne way no one has been able to beat my zero to sixty and quarter mile times. Thats how good i am.

Default Yo question

How do you read the simulated dyno report from the accessport. It says I have 1223.39 HP at 5835 RPM. How much actual horsepower is that cuz this doesn't Make sense to me

That's a misprint in the AccessPort manual -- it's actually measuring Smurfpower.

Of course upgrading from stage 1 to stage 2 will add power and torque that is the point... but ass far as the butt dyno is concerned only you can be the judge of that. Nobody can convince you that you will be happy with the gains you will receive no matter how many times we tell you that you will be satisfied or disappointed. You just have to do the deed and see for yourself.

Keep in mind that you stated you were happy with Stage 1 for a while and then you became used to it and that is why you want to run Stage 2. Maybe it will end up being the same thing for you after running stage 2 for six months and then you will be considering another upgrade.

Also consider the fact that a very very angry scary Camaro may line up on you one day at a stop light in a school zone and rev his engine. Five minutes later you may be six car lengths and a **** hair behind him. Then maybe its time for stage 3?
