Default FP Turbo!!!! Stames Car continued...

Well, I am 0.99% that I found the problem with the car. Look at the wheel on the stock turbo...

Now look at the wheel on my FP Green...

Notice anything different? yep, you see it now. They put an Evo wheel in a subaru turbo. The compressor is spinning the wrong freaking way!

Such a relief. I was ready to ship my entire car to the engine builder. I am so glad I didn't. We will see what FP is willing to do.

How can you look at both pics and see anything but a std rotation compressor wheel?

I just spoke with Robert from FP, and the wheel is for a fact, NOT backwards.

He's asking the OP to call him: 972 984 1800 ext #108.

He's more than happy to speak with you about it, but to repeat again, that wheel is not in there backwards.

To add, I'm pretty disapointed in the lemming behavior going on in here. You guys need to think for yourselves, and not just jump on the bandwagon because one person makes a statement about a vendor or their product. Have some respect for yourselves to make sure the claim is real before you commit to supporting it. I'm looking at the same pictures you guys are, and I see the wheels facing the exact same direction. Why on earth would you think that's backwards. Looks closer at each picture, you can see the leading edge of the blade is in the same orientation on both turbos. How is that backwards?

I mean, it does look like an EVO green billet wheel. If you follow the rotation it would not be going the direction of the vlute.

I keep looking back at the original picture and I can't really tell which way the turbine is spinning in relation to the scroll. OP: got a better pic?

Maybe it's a ****ty picture. The compressor wheel is a little too "chrome" to make everything out clearly. But after playing with some of the lighting levels, it looks obvious to me that the wheel is pulling OUT of the turbo.

You can look here for pictures of the turbo from FP:

http://store.forcedperformance.net/m...Code=WRX-Turbo

Don't look at the shadows in the OPs pic, you need to look at the hard leading edge of the blade. It's not backwards.

If the OP would take a slightly off angle well lit shot of the wheel it will be easier to see the blades. Camera Flashes + anything metal = crappy photos.
