we retuned yesterday in late afternoon and here are the results
Event: EQ - Tuning Road Dyno Location: EQ - TUNING Ambient Temp: 55 degrees Fahrenheit Elevation: 600ft above Weather: Sunny Car: Obsidian black Pearl 2006 Subaru STi Tuner: ED @ eq-tuning Peak HP at RPM: 342whp Peak Torque at RPM: 418wtq Target Boost: 24-25psi peak (17.8 by redline) Fuel: E-85 Engine/Power Modifications: Crucial Racing full Downpipe HKS Carbon-Ti Catback GrimmSpeed UP w/38mm Tial EWG APS CAI APS Inlet DW850cc Injectors Walbro Hallman MBC Perrin Sidefeed V2 FuelRails NGK 1step colder plugs EQ Tuning Custom Tune Driveline Modifications: BONE STOCK DRIVELINE Suspension Modifications: stock struts with S-tech springs ![]() YES... ED is the ****. that guy is crazy, trully a Mastermind, he said he could have generated more power but since i still dont have my damn EGT gauge, we decided to lil bit conservative, i made 335whp 400wtq w/ vp109 when i ran 11.7, but some how my car feels alot faster than before, ![]() we actually hit 425wtq onces, but i think the stock BOV is not doing its job anymore, still on the stock clutch with 29,000 miles of hard driving, so far its holding, but i think few more launch with this power level, its gonna go, haha im planning to add: equal lenght headers in a couple of month or so,get the EGT guage working, and exhaust cut out then im damn sure 360whp is possible and perhaps 450wtq? ![]() ![]() then maybe 11.5s? ![]() a stock STi makes 215-225whp like a "true" low reading mustang dyno thanks for looking, hope you enjoyed it - Sean Big thanks to ED, and the EQ-tuning crew Big thanks to Jeremy @ Crucial Racing Big thanks to friends ( you guys know who you are )

thanks man
Yes its very insane, i ussually drive like a maniac back when i was running 91map, but im actually scared to drive like maniac now im at this crazy power level everyday, haha i respect it so much, you just dont want to drive it hard at all, you just want to cruiz and enjoy how smooth the car drives, i always take pride on how good the stock clutch is, but with this power level everyday, the clutch is gonna go bad soon, and i cant afford a new clutch just yet how you been man?, i havent seen u post in awhile |

for reference my ACT HD clutch lasted about 13K putting down similar power, I am going with a 6-puck unsprung next.
When are you going to the track? I can't wait to see what she runs! How much boost are you running? GL |

Thanks for the post Sean! Your car surprised me yet again. I knew we were on to something when we hit 320whp in almost 100F weather, but I did NOT expect this kind of power and torque in colder weather. This is yet again another record for the highest power on a VF39 on my software and we didn't have to push it hard to get there! The previous record setting tune on race gas was much more aggressive and still didn't make the same kind of power. I'm switching my own car to E85 in the near future

I don't know how you do it? 18psi at redline is crazy...What is redline anyways? ![]() On my best pull on Airboys my car made 346whp and 404 wtq and it hold 15psi at 6750 RPM. Do you attribute holding more boost at redline to the EWG? Are you using a helper spring? is it possible to do this with a VF39/43 IWG. Can you please post some logs in the official road dyno thread for comparison http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=1728653 Good job I need to send you some of my logs ![]() TY |

.We're not using any helper springs since its running an EWG. I've made similar power on VF39 with IWG before. To be honest, I don't think the extra boost up top is doing too much for us. I wouldn't be surprised if we induced a taper down to about 16psi and made the same power. Thanks -- Ed |
