Default Clearing out the headlights

When clearing out the headlights....do you need new yellow bulbs for the turn signals? Or are the bulbs yellow like the rear of the car on the 05's

I don't know since I don't have an '05, but it would be incredibly easy to go out and pull the bulb out and look for yourself. I would imagine that if it has a yellow lens covering the bulb, that the bulb itself would be clear.

I'm pretty sure the blubs are clear. That is why people purchase orange bulbs when clearing so that they won't be ticketed for not having a different color turn signal.

I picked up a set of stealth bulbs from Rallitek in Portland, I'm sure you could find some near you. Here is the site that I got mine from.. http://www.ipdusa.com/Universal-Prod...-202-871-4341/ If you don't know what stealth bulbs are, they are silver/chrome when they aren't being used, but they blink orange...hence "stealth"

Depends on the state, as far as turn signals are concerned. White turn signals are legal in Oregon.

superlumination.com is a good source for chromed bulbs. I've used them several times and so have other members. They're a lot cheaper than some other places. I bought chromed bulbs for the front and rear turn signals(I have a wagon), and installed them 3 years ago. 75,000 miles later and they still work.
