Default Subaru S12 Blog (Barbados)
This Blog will contains Videos , photos of other cars here in Barbados that rally , this is a blog from the time Roger Purchased the car till up to the last event which we had couple weeks ago.

These are pics and videos from King of the hill. We won the king of the hill convincingly.

Things were going well , until the stage before lunch the battery failed , *we knew it would , but we were going to change it at lunch* So the co driver had to run all the way down a hill about 1/4 of a mile to collect the jump battery from us , to go back to jump the car.

Then things went from bad to worse, got the car back to service , ran through it , changed the battery and it would not start , we tried everything but alas we were OTL , then we found what the problem was!

A pop out circuit breaker failed , it did not burn or pop out . it just failed .




So back to the action he decided to continue driving and ran off the road

Our next event was the Rally of the sun and stars on the 19th of september.

On the first stage we had a boost hose come off lost about 45 seconds.

The 3rd stage Roger had an off which lead to a 1 min and 30 second loss.

The next event was on October 4th , the engine in the S12 blew
Apparently the engine lifted one of the heads then over heated then cracked the head.
The coolant pressure was all over the place in the morning then he said it lost oil pressure then it came back then it over heated.
