Default Defi 60mm and GC DEFI pod

Defi gauges and REAL GC DEFI POD

Gauges have never been hooked up. They were placed into the pod then into the car for Subiefest. I have all the original boxes for the gauges and controller, with all the defi senders in their packages still.
They are 60mm with the Link controller and all sending units.

SOLD

Thanks

that looks like the ebay gauge pod to me. The defi pod says defi on it.

I bought a pod off ebay a year ago that looks exactly the same, and the right pod is even shaped different like the one you posted.

Here's a photo of genuine defi pod:

News to me. I've only seen this pod and another cheaply made copy in person. I was told this is a *real* defi pod, I guess I was duped. It fits and sits as it should, no eBay gaps or anything of the like. Where does the other "defi" pod say defi? The picture you sent is pretty small.

I do however see that the side is a different shape. Hmmm... Until further notice I'll reserve selling the pod as a genuine pod. I'll have to do more research. Thanks for the heads up Milestoempty.

how does the middle gauge fit? does it push flat or is there a small area where it rubs the pod? do any of the gauges rub the pod?

the defi pod will allow the gauges to all sit very flush and the are almost straight up and down in the pod.
the ebay version usually wont allow the gauges to fit quite as nicely and i've noticed the ebay pod points the gauges slightly upward.

as far as i know there are only a handful of real defi gc pods in the states...

take a pic of the inside fiberglass...
defi is by far superior quality

in my opinion it looks like you have an ebay version...

good luck!

All gauges in mine sit flat, and none of the defi branded 60mm gauges touch anything but the backing of the pod. Interior of the pod is thicker than any eBay pod I've ever seen.

Thank you all for the opinions, I guess I should call ECS and triple check with them that the pod that was in their car wasn't a fake.

well you didnt say it was from ecs...

i highly doubt they would sell anything fake... it does look a little off but it could just be from pics.
but from ecs... it should be real if thats what they said

I don't like to name drop.
They had this pod in their car before the dash swap. They had it painted and I bought it empty, I then sourced gauges to match the RS dash. And...now the new priorities have me looking to sell off the extras that I haven't hooked up or that I don't need.

is that pod painted like that, or is it the original color?

I would have to paint it dark gray i guess to match the stock interior...

It's painted Arcadia Green to match ECS' Unicorn, and MY personal Unicorn. Grey would have been a bit too....umm... plain jane. Go big or go home...right? heh.

Honestly, I've got a TON of offers in the 300-400 USD range on the pod. I'm scared of being left with the Defi gauges though as I won't be able to use them on the next car. If I could get the whole setup sold...I'd love that. If not... 3-400$ for the pod would take it.

I had a local flake on the pod and gauges...

If these are still available, I am interested in everything EXCEPT the pod.

Please PM me.

Cheers,
