Compared to my summer wheel/spring set up, the Nokians on stock wheels and high riding nose look is just so unattractive. I like to keep the summer look as long as possible. I usually wait until the first flurries to make the switch.

But.... if you have ultra-high performance summer tires, they tend to have absolutely lousy traction in cold November. .....Not that Hakka's have any better though.

Did mine 2 weeks ago. As long as it does not hit much about 55 out for a long period of time you are ok.

Per my previous post, I thought about doing it yesterday.. but that's as far as I got :P

Going up to MI for the holiday weekend so I'll be swapping them on Wednesday.. don't want to get caught in some lake effect with the summer 18's.. I may as well skate home if that happens.

I can't wait to order summer tires on a new set of wheels. I'm definitely leaning towards gold Rota Grids unless I see a decent deal on the wheels forum, and I'm looking forward to driving on something different from the All Seasons.
^^ The Grids are sweet I have them in hyperblk.. your gona love the look I sure do.. Ill be switching over to winters after I get back from my mexico road trip Hoping It doesnt snow on the way back ill be screwed that will be Dec 20th wkend

Big ups to the Indy crew for mounting my blizzaks onto my stock rims, complete with obligatory dirty jokes.

And the rum and cokes. Didn't I say I wasn't drinking tonight? I lied.

That's the way to install mudflaps. Installing mudflaps with the wheels/tires on the car is a bitch.

Probably before the weekend is over. I wanted to wait till December but it's getting too cold for the summers.

I switched to winters about 3 weeks ago. It's getting cold at night sometimes here in Chicago and also I want to avoid useless wearing of the summer tires as much as possible, after all they are twice as expensive as the winter tires.
