Exclamation What if I just removed my hood scoop?

I think it would look pretty cool (ricey??) Just have the big ol' TMIC sitting there almost stickign out of the hood. Any thoughts or pics.

I didn;t search but can;t remember seeing this posted.

i've thought of this but there is no cool way to cover it (mesh and such). also, how is the top mount getting air through it without the scoop?

if you take the scoop off it will act like the other hood vents... the air going over the hood will suck out the air from the engine bay. Which mean the intercooler will become useless if not harmful.

Yeah, it would draw hot air that entered the engine compartment past the rad and exit past your IC.

Plus it would look fugly.

Default ugly

Yes ugly, I took my scoop off to build intercooler air ducting ( to force the air thru the IC) didn't look to good.
