Well, my car ate it coming home from WP (not a wreck).
I was on HWY 12 and heard some some awful noise from the engine bay, tachometer started acting funky and I lost power. Pulled over, car make a horrible noise that sounds like it's coming from the left head.
I'm pretty sure this engine is not worth saving, thus this car will most likely get a swap this spring.
But I wanted to see if any locals wanted to come by and hear it to just to make sure it isn't something simple.

I'll be at work and won't be around till around 7.
I was planning on buying a back up wagon that I could also use for snowboarding in Feb or March. This little stumbling block is going to make that happen sooner.
I'll probably end up buying a wagon over the weekend and the GC will sit around until March or so while I shop for a swap.

I may be headed over to Tacoma in the morning to look at some cars. I would guess that your wagon is out of my price range for a back up car but I would love to hear what you are thinking about selling it for. Feel free to shoot me a PM with a description, mileage and asking price.

Look at what you get for the price though. Especially now that the 6.2 is standard in the 2011s

And for spending 42000 on that are you really going to go do 100 mph across a desert trail. If i had 42000 and i wanted to do that, i would buy a used half ton and build a true pre runner granted i would have no warranty but if you dove that truck the way you could the prerunner they would not honor the warranty anyhow besides all that I think it looks pretty cool.

o and 96convt good luck let us know what you spinup.

true on the $42k price tag and not using it to its full potential but, the same can be said for numerous cars i.e. sti, evo, 911, anything with a srt-.. badge, M-whatever, anything in the AMG line, S-pick your number, ect. you think the majority of the buying public uses those cars to the full potential of what they were built? personally no i wont be entering the baja 1000 with it or anything but it sure is nice to go fast, play in the hills when we go campiong and then head to home depot to pickup a dishwasher and some lumber. haha

good luck on the tune hopefully youll get the numbers youre shooting for man.
