I agree, but grrrr I don't want to be around those honda guys! Intake exhaust is it on a lot of Hondas here and they like to race at every light, I know you guys know what I'm talking about, I have to "say" no to so many hondas that want to race my stock wrx, so I can only imagine what its like for subies with exhaust, etc. Maybe I'm wrong, someone tell me I'm wrong.

Sorry, but tomorrow is not going to work for me. Would have to be a week day meet.
Who drives the blue 04-05 STI with the black hood and wing? See them down the block every day at work.

Lol ok I've calmed down a bit, it definitely isn't hard to find a Honda ready to race in Yak, but i'm not saying no every second like I made it sound, I was pissed at something completely different and then I saw the thing about the tow hooks and I decided to vent, sorry!

And I'm still down to meet up at 3 if other people reply!

I Just need to mention to everyone that if a date and time is set for a meet and you are not able to meet at that particular time please do NOT try and change the time frame. We all have lives outside of our subarus. Ie family, work, ect. This makes planning a time and date important to stick with. If a few people have things that come up than they should just post that they cannot make it or just not show up. Its hard for people to change plans in such a rush. Some people may have actualy worked this meet into their schedual and its not fair to them to have things changed 2 days before the meet.

Now thats out of the way DCWRX has the best solution for all of this. Set up a STANDARD time and place that way everyone can work their scheduals to be there. Also people that cannot make it just cant make it! They wont need to try and change anything. They will know they can just attend the next meet.

So as for today a final time needs to be set. I am able to attend at either time 1 or 3 but I vote we keep it for 1 since that was the original time and people who may not have checked this forum within the last 2 days will not show up and say "WTF is everyone?? Wow subarus really have no support in this valley! Thats it Im moving to tri cities!" Or worse "Thats it im buying a honda or domestic" :'(

No one could make the 1 time so we changed it to three. But I do agree we should keep a time and date and stick to it from now on. But as of today the majority can make the 3 time so that's what the time will be.

Good stuff! I took a few pics while bringing up the rear by the canyon. And we definitely got some of the locals attention and not in a bad way. Whens the next one!?

you should keep your meets to the same day of the week at the same time at the same place. that way its a reguler type thing.

I was able to score a pair of SOHC head with cam gears.
I want to slap on a cam gear, do a compression check, and see if I need to swap heads at all.

I have no flippin clue on how to do this.
Anyone available to lend a hand?

I've b een so busy fishing and getting the nursery ready... I just don't have enough time right now... its pretty easy. Fyi you need to leave your timeing belt on to break free your pullies. And a 2' breaker bar and a 10mm allen socket if I remember right... its really easy just takes a little time.

Word, I've been reading up on that. Here's the thing though, cam gear is broke. I think there is a way of locking down the cam after pulling off the valve cover in order to swap out the cam gear.
