I might be down to pick up a burger and fries, my cholesterol might be too low anyhow.

We actually did meet up at miners like posted but in typical fashion yakima was full of fail with a total of7 showing up that's including the extra 3 I told about the gathering.

It's 7* outside, think that might be part of it. Back in the day at the north end meets, there was a consistent 7 or 8 that showed up, which was awesome because we all got to know each other.

If there is a meet in the next couple of weeks, I may show. Not real big on standing out in the freezing cold though.

A few of us that met last time talked about hitting some place up for burgers/beer.
I'm still down for that.
We also talked about snowboarding/skiing up @ white. We can't "cruise" there but I'm always down to meet @ WP.
Heading up tomorrow for some pow.

Any interest in spending a day at renegade come spring? i tried to put together a central washington meet for rx7s a few years back, but the former owner was not really interested in holding a meet. it is now under new management and I am willing to try to set this up again. historically they race on saturday, and we could get 2 to 4 hours of track time in on sunday morning, if things are still the same. Perhaps a central Washington meet worth running up from 3C and down from spokane? it might come down to tossing $20 inna hat for insurance and crew for the timers.... any one? any one?

I agree with drifterx. Hopefully SSSCC comes back to Yakima this year. It would fun to auto-x all day and then have a get together of some sort after. Of course this wouldn't be for a while though.

Sand & Sage has been running almost only @ TCR, my least favorite site.
The problem with the Sun Dome is the rent is too high, even with the west side guys it always ends up as a financial loss.
Another place to consider running is at Packwood < by far the best place to run.

I've never ran at TCR, but I enjoyed running at Yakima and Dust Devil Stadium. I haven't ran with them since DDS was removed as a site. I still have my finger crossed for Yakima. It is really convenient to live within 15 minutes of the site.

I used to run quite a bit with SSSCC but bailed when I went back to school.
TCR as a site has been kinda sketchy if I remember, the owner was strongly considering selling it for land development.
Because it's a circle track your pretty limited to course lay outs, it usually ends up with a bunch of slaloms and some chicago boxes.
The slalom on a cambered course can through you off, I spun out more times there than any place (ended up off course & in the infield more than a few times).
DD was fun while it lasted.

I have been pushing this for some time now and no one seems interested.

I will keep trying to make a club/team for next years AutoX events.
