I'll be damned, a bone stock 09 WRX in 12's, impressive. I think your uncle has a record for a fastest bone stock 09/10 WRX.

Congrats. Doesn't really surprise me. The fastest stock wrx made so far, at one of the fastest tracks in the country, in November. Good job though.

Multiple people have run very low 13s (13.1-13.3) on bone stock 09's so it was only a matter of time before someone broke into the 12s. The gearing on the 09's is very quarter mile friendly. I think they're a little underrated too.

with a trap over 104, you should definitely be at 13.0 or less... nice time, and solid 60' on a stock car.

This is a stock wrx record for sure. The fastest stock sti to date is 12.87, with spear tire and seats out.

The fastest stock weight/ stock sti ran a 12.9XX.

The 12.8 was a 2006, the 12.9 was an 04, which is totally possible as i went 13.0 with a stock sti.

I dont think the 07-09's can do better than 13.1, being a combo between the pos tunes and weight.

The 09-10 wrx with its 5 speed and slight weight advantage is good for 1280's 12.90's. I knew this when the first few were putting up 103-105 traps, and knew it was only a matter of time.

Congrats the the OP's uncle!!!

Wish I would have seen this in person. I was just at Cecil County on 11/6. Have to say congrats again. Unfortunately, 11/20 was the last Friday night for racing there.

I was going to challenge you 'Uncle Phil' for pinks in my Toyota RAV4. This is your lucky day.

Good driving!
