My contact period teacher at Judge Memorial would give us detention if we didn't stand for the pledge and prayer. I agree with the kid as well.

I say quit being a *****. People will do anything for some publicity. Honestly if you think liberty and justice for all will ever happen???? Nobody has equal rights. Life is not fair.

That kid doesn't even know what the hell he's talking about. HE'S 10! He probably heard his mom and dad discussing it or his parents told him to do it.

**** judge and the girls that come from that place.

that kid is ridiculous though. he was using words way too big for his age, sure it helped play off that he knew what he was talking about, but the huge fault in the whole thing was the last question the reporter asked. he didn't really seem to understand the question at all, which seemed like the only part not rehearsed. way to stand up for your beliefs but i mean.. cmon.

i never said the pledge of allegiance because i was mad that it said "one nation under god" and screw that, separation of church and state? required to say we are all under god? i stood, but i didn't say it.. maybe if i would have been a little bitch about it i could have been on cnn also. /rant

One nation under "God" to analyze this from a detached standpoint: The common study of God and relation to same sex interaction would be in two different extremes of the spectrum. I think what most of the gays are looking for are acceptance and normality in there way of life.

That said if all the folks who beleive in one nation under "God" or rather God in the relegious sence (any religion that follows the bible and many other sources) would come to accept the same sex marriage as a norm or acceptable by god from there beleif then it would nullify the very point of the man/women marriage and spiritual ideals they strive for thus bringing a never ending battle in terms of polarity or paradox.

I think what needs to happen is equal rights as in a stand point of the law and the gays should focus only on that at the moment the acceptance isnt going to happen in its totallity any time soon. You would have to nullify the major beleifs of many common standards

Notice them placing so much attention towards many religions and trying to force there view on the grounds of many different temples and so on and so on. its an attack that is poorly designed and has a childish tactical aproach. a better option as stated before would be to only start in the legal arena

I am not taking sides here at all with the last statement as it is a simple fact of manifestation of erlyer statements indicating a never ending battle that wont be one on either side unless it comes down to an fight as shown in ancient times many times over (Holy War)

please dont hate me its just a logistical view of the situation and a mental guided tactical assessment.
