Track Day at Summit Point on June 1st.

The S2000 Club and Club Vitesse are holding a track day on June 1st on Jefferson Circuit at Summit Point. The cost is 225$ for 6 track sessions(with instructors).

I just emailed the person who is putting this on and it appears that there are still open spaces. And of course the more subarus the better.

Of course the funny part about this is that last night my WRX died on herndon parkway. Some type of ignition or turbo problem. With the pedal to the floor in first the car bearly touches above 1000 RPM. To make life more interesting I am leaving down for a week and a half, soon. So I hope that paul brothers fixes the car by the time I get back so I can make the track day. I guess this better this happened now then the day before the track day.

hmmm....gotta think this one through....

$225 - very expensive (especially for jeff. circuit)
Jefferson Circuit - very short, gets crowded, hard on brakes
Lots of S2000 s on the track- tail happy car, drivers have the reputation for thinking that they know how to drive when they dont.
6 sessions- by the end of the day, the above problem is compounded

hmmm...but I really want to go to the track..........

Supposidly there limiting the number of cars on the track to about 12 cars per a group. There are 36 cars total and three groups. Each group is divided into skill level.

But if you really wanna know for sure email the guy above and ask.
