Volk TE37 18x9 and 17x9 +40 5x100 Functional Fitment Group Buy!

Hi everyone,

We know that not everyone wants to go super aggressive with their wheel fitments, but yet still want a wheel size that will accommodate some nice meaty tires. Thus, we came up with the idea of doing a group buy for 9-inch wide wheels in a +40 offset and in 5x100 to make all of the WRX, GC, and Legacy owners happy. The wheel of the hour of course is the Volk Racing TE37:

To give you an idea of what this size might look like on a Subaru in a not-so aggressive size, here are my old limited edition TE37s on my bugeye from a few years ago in 18x7.5 +48:

We are offering group buys for the following two sizes, which of course will be wider, but not more concave than what you see in my bugeye above:

18x9 +40 5x100 -- MSRP $3480 + shipping, standard colors only
17x9 +40 5x100 -- MSRP $3160 + shipping, standard colors only

Both fitments will fit just about flush with the fenders, with very little to no poking out past the fenders whatsoever. This means you'll be able to run a nice fat 255 or perhaps even a 265 tire, depending on how much fender rolling you'd like to do. However, make no mistake, you will NOT require a lot of negative camber, coilovers, completely hammered out fenders, or stretched tires to make this fitment work. The goal of these fitments is functionality with added style, not to mention less stress on wheel bearings. Now is the perfect time to order yourself a set for track days next spring!

On top of this, you'll be able to order any of the following colors at no extra charge:

Bronze (pictured above)
White
Gunmetal
Flat Black
Gloss Black
Diamond black
Gold
Formula Silver
Dark Blue (aka "Mag Blue")

In order for these group buys to happen, we need to order at least 5 sets of each size, and we'll require a 50% deposit to secure your spot in the group buy. If we get 5 orders of one size, that size will go through no problem, but if the other size does not get 5 orders, the group buy will not continue. ETA for these wheels is approximately 3-4 months from when we place the order. We will post the screen names of those signed up for each respective size here:

5x114.3 already has 18x9.5 +40 available that can be ordered without any special group buy, but 5x100 never had anything wider than 8.5 available, hence why we wanted to produce this group buy. We can do an 18x9 or 17x9 +40 5x114.3, but given how 5x100 gets even less love than 5x114.3, we figured 5x100 would be the way to go.
