Default Frankenstein is finished!!!!!

Well guys and gals, I got a new project ride. Been a working progress for awhile now and thought I'd share my build with you all. Here goes,

Here is my 04 STi that is in heaven now, I parted most of her out but kept most of the vital organs

Here's some info on the project WRX , she's an 05 WRX limited. Found her with a blown motor, but had some really great mods. Picked her up for $6,500. This is a list of what will be done when completed...

Engine Mods:
2.5 swap outta my old STi
VF 34 turbo
ebay special front mount intercooler
6-speed tranny swap outta my STi

Intake Mods:
K&N Typhoon

Exhaust Mods:
I think its a GT Spec dp and no name on exhaust (was on car when I bought it)

Suspension Mods:
lowering springs not sure what kind (was on car when I bought it)

(I'm keeping the WRX rear end for now tell I can find/afford STi half shaft, diff, hubs and Brembos. Im kicking myself in the ass right now for selling them off of my STI in July. I put the r180 gear and an STi yolk into the r160 diff shell so the the drive shaft/half shaft with marry. Well see how long it hold's, no launches tell I get the proper goods...

Exterior Mods:
STi wing
STi front bumper with side flares
shaved trunk and grill
18' Emo's

Tune is next...

Here are some pics the day I picked her up

Here are a lot of pics from the install, still working out some minor details after the install. But all and all it went pretty smooth. I got all the major stuff taken care of last weekend. BIG THANKS to Indiana Impreza Club!!! I need to put the rest of the interior/dash in besides the drivers seat, lol

Finally got her started up. Little hesitation, needless to say I was surprised. Makes me feel a warm and fuzzy inside!

Wow, sweet build. So what's that white fuzz on the center vents (inside)? What happened to the car before you bought it?

This thread has the potential of being EPIC!! Still have the wheels from when you picked her up? They probably are my fave wheels for the wrx/sti.

As of now I do. I really like them too, I've been moving them around to garage these last few days and wow they're so light for 18'. The guy wants $500 for the wheels and the ****y tires that are on them. I'd love to buy them but I have to prioritize, I need STi rear haft shafts, STi diff, and Brembos for the rear first. Other wise I'd be all over it.

rofl Ouch.

Why is everyone wearing gloves? Those things just rip anyway on the first dull surface they come in contact with...

Looked like fun.

Good luck finding a R180 housing.
