Default Departure of my corolla...

Thought I would write up and first say thanks to RJ for selling my finnish friend his trailer on very short notice! I sold the car months ago with "I will come some time before the end of the year" as my only indicator as to when the car would be picked up by the owner of BT Motorsports (a Finnish Rally Team). Well to my surprise, on Wednesday or Thursday he emails me to say he will be here on sunday and can I please have a trailer ready for him to buy and pull the car home on?
So I post a need to buy thread and RJ delivers. He comes over today with only a rough idea of when this guy is showing up. "I will leave vegas somewhere around 8 am" is what his email, not phone call, email said. So RJ came and we loaded the car up at like 3pm just wondering when the guy is coming. We even had the car halfway up the trailer when RJ decided he wanted to unlatch it from the ball and see if he could get the corolla to fall off the end?
anyways 4 hours later or so the guy showed up. He had bought a van site unseen in LA and picked it up at the airport. He drove it through vegas to my place. While we were trying to decide if it was his van a guy in a wheel chair comes rolling up and tells us he's our guy.

So now we have a finnish rally master in a wheel chair here to buy my car?

He paid RJ cash for the trailer, and took me and my wife out for steak!

Either way it was one of the strangest days ever! I was really wondering if the guy would ever come anyways?

The car will make its first appearance at Rally New York in March of 2010. Please keep your eyes open! It is being converted to automatic and this man who is paralyzed from the waist down will be racing it!

he told me he prefers the NA 2wd class to the awd turbo'd classes as he enjoys the challenge! seriously the guy is a total bad a@@ and super cool!

Haha, selling cars can always be an awesome/crazy experience! Yours sounded like a mix between the two; mine on the other hand, was 100% crazy. My friend and I got a call on his civic that was in the paper; no less then ten minutes the guy rolls up on his bicycle to my apartment. We go on a test drive just around the block with him (nothing out of the ordinary.... yet!) He pops the hood, takes the dipstick out, and then takes a lick of the oil and tastes it for a bit, then spits it out. Must've been good stuff because, he takes another lick of it and says "perfect, i'll take it!" His bike is still outside my apartment, i'm dreading his return.

Ha Ha Sick!

I had a fun time watching you and your wife play video games haha. Next time I will show you how to get through a level of mario brothers with out using all your lives and continuing 6 times.

Had a blast thanks for dinner and the Bōsōzoku shift knob. My wife was like WTF? Then I smacked her with it and told her Ike Turner use to drive with this.
