wow i didnt even know they had a dom2xt. i just had my dom3xtr tuned. from the site, it looks like the only difference is dom3xtr is bb and the dom2xtr isnt. if it is, it doesnt say it. it's available with 3 different hotsides. maybe the turbine wheel is smaller, but they are both rated at 550bhp. so im not sure.

Looks like an inflated crank horsepower number.
A 2.5XT-R @21 psi making 453 HP !?!?

It would be better if you can get the Wheel Horsepower number.

I would assume that the 4.0XT-R to be making 650HP on this dyno.

Its not inflated just a different way of doing things - in the UK they like to put the figures as crank HP.

I would say its making about 360 - 370 whp

Yeah it prob would, and that would be completely normal because other countries do things differently.. believe it or not.

Don't get me wrong.
At least you have a common standard in the UK.
Where I am currently located, Its kind of mess up.
Most of my country car magazines does not differentiate WHP to CHP.
And most of the local shops use Crank HP numbers and sometimes inflate the conversion factor to get more customer.

I still feel that Wheel HP dynoplot is nearer to real world performance.
However, I apologize for my comments and also, if I were inappropriate to ask for your WHP figures.

overall i am very happy. this is a great everyday tune. i will reintroduce meth in a couple weeks (or a month when my AP2 comes back from COBB) when the gauges are all installed. hoping for about 450 to the wheels.

There also will probably be a 100 and 109 oct tune in my future

Epic Motorsports has always helped me out when in a jam and they are a great bunch of guy workin on subies. I recommend them to anyone local.

I have an 04 STi and i have a dom4 old school and my tuners just told me of the defects and i found out it was cracked. I called blouch and they will take care of it for $200. Is it worth really keeping after it is fixed?
