Gonna need a little bit more information. How much power does the car make? How fast do you want to go? What size wheels are they going on? And do you care about breaking stuff?

Car is built only for darg, its not for every day use anymore. In start i hope hit 400-500 hp on E85. I think i will use 15" rims. I am not scared about breaking stuff I have stright cut gear dogbox, so i can change some driveshafts if needed

I have a gc8 and i am going for the 24.5'' hoosier quick time pro and 16'' wheels

I tried my friends 26'' and it was on the edge of being to big to fit so it would rub BAD

Alot of the fast GC's run the Mickey Thompson 26x17x7 motorcycle slicks with success.

I am thinking about MT 22.0/8.0-15 tyres.... As i understand 22" its full tyre height and 8" is tyre tread width. Of corse 15" is rim size. Am i right? In europe is different measurements

The MT motorcylce slicks work pretty well but they are not ideal for drag racing. A lot of cars are very unstable on these tires. They really arent a good choice unless you have brembos and dont want to loose them, and even then theres options like CCW wheels so you can run a 16" wheel.

24.5's arent a good choice as they will affect your gearing since there too short of a tire.

A 26" tire in whatever width you want will work the best. You will most likely have to raise the car a little bit but the extra sidewall will definately help. MT's and Hoosiers are both great so its really just preference on what you want at that point.

With a 22" tall tire, you'll be running out of gear FAST. If you are infact going to be making 400-500hp then you'd need a 26" tall tire. The amount of torque you'd be making with them would be enough, and you'll 60' like crazy.

but that type of tyres are very stony. Drag slick works like damper to + better traction.

yah, it's the big sidewall and not the 40 tall tire

if it was just for drag and not on the street, yah the hoosier is the bomb
