I will be subscribing to this thread, so I can get in contact with you later. Not that I'm taking advantage of you or anything.

P.S.
I want to join the Armed Forces just so I can get stationed in Japan.

You must find the scratch and dent Autobacs! It's a gold mine if you can read Japanese!

You going to Yokota?

p.s. I want JDM air fresheners.

Up garage is another fun place to go, even if you don't buy its just a haven of car stuff everywhere, went into one and said "hey this is my first time in japan and I have american friends who are really into cars and would love to see pictures of here is it alright?" and they were all about it. Only one I can remember in tokyo was shinagawa sort of near the shinkansen station but there are more.
I'm not sure if its still going on, but I'd be amazed if it wasn't, if you have a bud with a car, check out...ehh what was the name... daikoku-futo I think, it was basically a giant parking lot rest stop island in yokohama that on friday and saturday nights there would be HUGE car meets. There was a post on it in OT last year I'll see if I can find it..

edit-found it but looks like the pictures aren't hosted anymore

Lol it's a really fun city. Don't be afraid of trying everything at least once. I ate pigs ear, didn't know what it was, and had some friendly english speaking fellow alert me as to what it was. After finding out it was pig's ear, i continued eating it lol...

If you ever make it to Misawa let me know. We have really close friends there due to our sister-city thing with them. But enjoy! I love Tokyo!

It wouldn't work, you end up getting sent to Iraq or Afghanistan.

I've heard good things about the Navy. We'll see. I'm not actively looking into it really, but it appeals a little more to me each day. I mostly just don't want to shake things with the gf of almost 2 years. Ha.

True, japan would be fun. I'm not sure I would want to be there for much longer than a year though. Just too many people in a small area for me. I wouldn't mind Australia.
