Talking New Moroso EJ Series Steel Oil Pan!

Working closely with MOROSO for the last couple weeks, and with the final revision being tested. We are proud to announce the Release of the Moroso EJ Series Steel oil pan.

This pan has been changed slightly from the Current Available Aluminum pan to allow for more fitment with aftermarket headers.

Featuring the same great benefits as the Aluminum unit at about 1/2 the price, giving you great value. Increasing Oil capacity to 5qts, and eliminating the pesky oil slosh issues that are typically associated with high cornering loads that the Subaru is capable of. Helping to keep the oil where its needed, at the bottom of the pickup.

Manufactured 100% in the USA, using high Quality steel. These units will be anodized black, and include all the needed parts to make this a full complete install kit. Oil pickup tube, gaskets, O ring, And a magnetic drain plug.

We just finished testing fitment with these headers. And so far have confirmed no issues.
Will fit with these headers with no issues:
APS
GT Spec Equal
GT Spec Un-Equal
Tomei Equal
Tomei Unequal
Greddy

*These images should be about 99% of what the pan will look like.

ETA. 4-5 WEEKS!

IF INTERESTED PLEASE SHOOT US A PM, AND WE CAN GET YOU PRICING AND GET YOU ON THE LIST! FIRST BATCH IS ONLY 10 UNIT RUN!

347.46 Is the price shipped. We have 1 left in stock!

With that being said, we have not been able to check for fitment with a JDM twin Scroll Header. But so far it has fit with every aftermarket unit.

Fitment is not a problem, been using one for months now on a personal car and it works great.
Dip stick wise, you re-use the stock unit. Only issue we have seen with the dip stick is the old O rings on the stock stick get hard and dont like to easily slide into the pan. But thats easy to address with either a little extra force or just a couple new O rings from the dealer.

Not to shoot down the pan, because I like and use them, but I have had a few issues with some I've used. I ordered one as soon as I could for my personal project, I believe it was one of the 1st ten. I had to shave part of the pick up tube at the base because the lip of the pan hit it so the pan couldn't be bolted on. I have a fab shop, so it was a 10 min fix for me, but for someone without the right tools it could be a big pain. I still haven't used that engine so I don't know if there are any issues with it yet.
I also installed one, June or July 2010, that had a pinhole/small crack in one of the welds. I freaked out because it was a new engine build for a customer and I came into the shop and it had an oil puddle under it. After finding the leak I removed the pan we saw the lip wasn't true maybe an 1/8 to 1/4 inch out, and I think that is what cause the weld to crack when I installed the pan. Thankful RallySport did work with us on the issue. It did take some time to get a refund, but that is part of this business and I fully understand.
I have since stopped working on customer cars, so I didn't deal with them anymore, but IMO I'm at 1 out of 3 as being a true bolt in unit. That being said I would be happy to use them again because the issues I've had were very small compared to what I have dealt with from other brand/vendors.

Their are currently no issues with these pans that we are aware off.

Only issue that we see is when people use them with headers that have not been tested/ header that was not designed to work with the pan. Unfortunately with 40+ headers on the market, Moroso physically can not design them to fit with every one. So they made it fit with the most popular headers.
