Are you that anxious to see it? Can you wait a couple weeks? Eventually, I'm sure it will calm down . It always does.

Man, you guys are doing serious disservice to yourselves by not watching it RIGHT NOW. Drop everything you're doing and go see it.

I went with Lee and a bunch of friends on opening day and it freakin' ruled. There were still a ton of seats left. Just see it before everyone gets off of work around 3pm, and you'll get a decent seat.

Best Star Wars made.

To me it was the best one because it gave me more of a 'WOW' feeling than Empire Strikes Back, which has always been my favorite. Despite the mushy love scenes, it showed me how powerful each character really was, especially one in particular.

The last half hour especially, when the familiar music and uh *cough* other familiarities pop up. That's when I was going wow....the start of the trilogy...

And regardless of what the critics say, Hayden played an awesome Anakin. If you don't remember, Luke Skywalker was a whiney little priss in the originals too, til he grew up.

I shall speak no further!

The reason I am not going to pay for it is because I cant stand Star-Wars, I mean the movies are alright to watch. But because of it my life has been tormented to no end. For 21 years all I have heard is, "Luke I am your Father", "Use the Force Luke", "Come to the Darkside Luke", ohhhh the pain, the Pain!

Everyone should just save their money
on this one. First hour and a half dragged
on. And the character development that
was present in "Empire Strikes Back"
wasn't ever present. Thank goodness
I went to an afternoon showing so I
didn't pay the 8 bucks to see it. It was
awful, just awful. At least there was
Portman to look at.

And yes the Anakin sucked. Waayyyy to
whiny.

At least we have LoTR this December.

I thought it was a pretty decent flick. Well worth the $8.00.

You have to remember Lucas has to do alot of explaining and development on alot of characters. Especially the love story of Anakin and Amidala.

They did a good job on casting Anakin IMO aswell. He's supposed to be whiney, bitchy, and unpredictible. How else would he turn to the darkside if he was just a supreme badass from the beginning? "Gee I'm the most powerful Jedi in the universe, but I'm getting bored now, time to go **** some **** up using the darkside."

I don't think they could have casted a better Anakin. He looks friendly and evil at the same time. I'm pretty sure I'd be a whiney bitch too if I wasn't allowed to love someone I knew I could have.

They didn't really have to focus much on character development. We know who Obi-Wan is, we know Yoda and Palpatine, and the majority of the other characters are filler. They only concentrated on the two we don't really know, Luke's parents.

You guys are nerds!! Just kidding. I can't wait to watch it and I hope Jar-Jar Binks is not there or any similar stupid ass character. As for the other fill in characters I am thinking that Palpatine might be the emperor that gives Vader orders at the latter Star Wars movie? Can anyone prove this wrong or am I just pulling someones leg??

Palpatine is the Dark lord of the sith.......he is Darth Sideis (not sure how to spell)

Jar-Jar is in the movie but he has like 5min total of screen time, he's not to bad. I jsut saw it the movie again last night.

Man, you should have known that Palpatine is Darth Sidious from the very beginning! Even before Episode I. If you know the trilogy, you'd know he's palpatine/sidious, same guy.

Man, am I the only geek around here? Did anybody notice the MMFalcon (or maybe it was just a regular Corellian cargo ship) in Episode II?

*geek mode off*

I can't remember where I got that idea that Palpatine was the emperor. I hate to admit it but I have read about 4-6 books past the Return of the Jedi storyline and some stories in between Empire Strikes Back and ROTJ.

"Geek Mode OFF" "OFF" dammit!

I watched the movie last Monday night. No line. Here's what I am guessing on the 3rd movie. Anakin kills Count Dookie and becomes the Emperors 2nd man. Only 1 sith lord and apprentice at any time. Vader kills all the Jedi Knights and in the process gets hurt bad enough to have to wear the black suit.
