Default 02 Bugeye Retrofit: FX-35 Clear Bi-xenon

After researching many write-ups on here and the HID Planet forums, I was able to complete my HID retrofit this past week. Being that my last retrofit was almost 5 years ago (00 Integra), I wasn't sure how this one was going to turn out. The Integra was pretty straightforward since the majority of the work involved cutting the stock bracket and mounting the projector. With this retrofit, I had to figure out where to cut/how to mount/which shrouds or bezels to use, etc.

This setup consists of the following:
- OEM FX35 Clear Bi-Xenon projectors w/ modded cut-off shield
- OEM Matsu****a Ballasts from an Infiniti Qx4
- Ocular Shrouds
- Morimoto 4300K D2S Bulbs (brand new not yet color shifted)
- 9007 wire harness

I'm really happy with the appearance and overall performance/light output of these projectors. Here's some pictures of the completed retrofit. I'll post some cut-off pics once I find a perfect spot to snap some. Feel free to post or pm any questions regarding the retro. --Thanks for looking!--

Thanks guys! Headlights are aftermarket from ebay as Spore mentioned... Since this is my daily driver, I needed a spare set of lights to retrofit and couldn't find any decent oem ones. I'll snap some cut-off pictures tonight and post them up.

Projectors are mounted on to stock reflector bowls... I basically dremeled off the stock reflectors, mounted the projectors, aimed, then sprayed the bowls black, re-mounted, double-checked the aiming one more time, cleaned, then re-sealed, then aimed again.

I used this thread for reference:

Cut-off pics added. It's the best I could do for now since my camera's battery was dying and there were two trees in the way...

Looks great! Any in-process pictures? Did you mount via the JnC method or through the rear?

What do you do during the day if your lights are off and you've got to flash the high beams?
