That's a good question but your running 0 wgdc on a pump map to clean the injectors. Its a nice map for those purposes. The load cells should do most of the work I assume unless your running a huge waste gate spring. I wish I knew about tuning so all this is an assumption

I should go back and edit all these posts....people are taking it as "this is how i tune cars"....it was just a suggestion for a simple pump gas map to put around on not in boost.
Nuke, what do you need to do to the low load timing? it really all depends on how the e85 map is setup.....but you can run craploads of low load timing on pump too....i was running 52* on my STi for 6 years on 91 oct. stock 06-07 WRX's run 55*. If you're going to make a pump map you should just change everything anyway.....its not like it takes hours and hours to change the boost, timing and fuel maps over.....it can be done in several minutes. My comments in this thread were just a simple solution for someone that really doesnt know what they're doing.....and obviously (at least i thought) not the way i do things or recommend people do things. If you do what i suggested in this thread and get into boost, then you're most likely going to knock like a mofo....especially if your switching to 91 oct. |

I'm worried that this buildup might be the cause of my issue. Ever so often I'll go to downshift into 2nd attempt to rev match and nothing. The rpm's simply wont climb and the engine makes a noticable misfire sound. I've ordered new plugs in fear that they might be the issue but the current ones look clean. I haven't had time to pull the injectors to check for any gunk, but I'm going to switch over to my 93 map this weekend and run a tank or two of 93oct through the system. I'll report back in a week or 2 with my results.
