went to the shop last nite and painted my bayson r prodrive lip along with some other parts.and installed the lip today. my s204 lip isnt here yet so ill have to paint that when it comes in. Lip fits very well and looks great. I didnt realize that these lips were made from actual the prodrive mold, I saw the prodrive stamp on the inside of the lip. no wonder they fit so well. now for the other lip..well see.

before anyone says anything...im having my mirrors hydroimaged, thats why they are missing.

I love those rims. I used to own a set before I totaled my car and broke 3 of them :/

And also not a fan of the vinyl sticker above the grill. It may look good if you had painted headlight housings and black prodrive lip. You want to match with other things or it will just look out of place.

Im fine with it. its actually paint. after I painted the hood I could still see images of rock chips even after I had prepped it and primed it. So I said eff it and put the black on there. If it gets to the point where it annoys me Ill just go to the shop one nite and respray it. Until then Im fine with it. I do plan on blacking out the headlight housings though so maybe thatll blend better.

Here's my contribution.

Everyone does the double Ebay lip these days, so I decided I'd do something different that I've wanted done for some time now. Prodrive with APR splitter. The car handles amazing at speed, very noticeably different.

Wheels are 18 x 9.5 + 35 offset.

Tires are 245 40 18. Fenders and quarters had to be rolled and pulled a bit.

So I've got to say.. isn't there a better solution to attaching the prodrive lip in the middle front of the bumper than 3M tape? I mean.. that **** won't hold up forever.

I'll take some better pictures this week and post them up of the splitter/pd combo.

This was something I addressed running the APR splitter under the Prodrive since its a heavy piece to slap on under there. I used two small set screws on either side of the Prodrive lip that screw into the bumper as well as replacing the pop hardware on the back with bolts. Everything bolts up real firm and nice, although now a need to attach the bumper more firmly to the chassis, probably with QR latches (its a lot of downforce you get with that thing!)

I dunno man, that 3M double sided acrylic tape seems to work pretty darn good for me.

Here's a couple of the Prodrive and APR. The two little black dots most visible in the second one are low profile allen bolts I'm using to fasten the lip to the bumper (as the splitter is attached to the lip ONLY. This way it has front, rear, and side support). And yes, my whole front needs a repaint, especially the lip which is the wrong color. FWIW NEVER use Dupont 01G paint, its completely the wrong color.

that looks nice man.

so on a side note. something interesting.

I recieved my s204 lip last nite.....

and it fits absolutely perfectly....there is nothing that I need to trim or cut. there is no middle section that rises up. It contours perfectly with the bugeye bumper and I dont need to modify whatsoever. I dont know if bayson r revised their lips but it is a perfect fit now. no modding needed. I may mount it tonite, I might now. I have some arc magic super wing replicas that I may run instead of the double lip combo.

Do it. Run the super wings with the V-lm. Not that the double-lip looks BAD, but it seems all too common nowadays.

so I put on my aeroguards and little front windsplitters instead of the double lip. Im not 100 % sure how I feel about the splitters yet but at the moment I like them. Something a little different. Id like to get the real Arc ones but goodness they are expensive.

Those look great, especially with the spats. Go for the ARC ones if you keep that style!

Sure just gave me more exterior modding thoughts, right about when I though I was done with my car

haha, we are never done are we....ha

If some used ARC ones become available Ill probably buy them. These were fairly cheap and I like the way they look for the most part so I can hold out until I see some real arc ones available.

But i urge caution. It took nearly a month to get mine and I had to file a paypal dispute before they sent them too me. Pretty shady sellers.

Yup after 8 years on a v2 lip I think it's time for a change, so my new eBay pro-d lip is at the paint shop now!

As much as I enjoy having this combo on my car, I think it's time for a change. Maybe V1 lip?
