I don't understand why it was a Ferrari. The dude had said 1000HP and then the dyno couldn't cope.

If they really wanted an equal challenger, the obvious choice would've been the Veyron.

Ironic that the 'Cuda "ran out of aero." I say this because it's the same vintage as the Superbird. Put this horsepower into a 'Bird and you've got better (maybe well better) than 230mph, I'd wager.

Love that vintage 'Cuda, though!

no way, a purpose built straight line car is faster in a straight line than an enzo. who woulda thunk.

I think they chose a supercar they knew would be close, not blow their doors off. Sweet car though.

'running out of aero' and 'running out of hp' ..... same thing, no? does my impreza run out of aero or hp at top speed? both i think.

No. Reduce drag, go faster with same HP.

yes, but consider:

The buggatti veyron needs abuot 280hp to hit like 180mph.
It needs the remaining 720hp to hit 250mph.

So you get more return for lowering the .cf than you do for adding HP.

Finished watching? How about watching again. That Cuda was not built to only run in a straight line.

The Cuda probably cost more to build than just buying an Enzo outright.
