Default Silver trim.

Hi, does anyone know how to remove the silver trim on the armrest on 09 Impreza. Thanks in advance for any help.

There's a screw in the small rectangle pocket/handle underneath where your forearm sits. You'll need a very small flat screw driver to slowly pry the cap up (it doesn't come all the way out so don't try or it will break!). Once that screw is gone, you'll just have to try to get a good grip between the trim piece and the rest of the door, then pull up slowly but firmly. It will feel like you're breaking it the first time you do it, but after that you'll be good to go.

I hope that helps. I've had mine off on most of my cars for custom painting (body color) and as long as you do it right it looks pretty sweet IMHO. Good luck.
