hey all; i figured I would chime in with my .02, Im in LA, im also part of socalsubies; i found him on their classified ads, last week i bought a borla xr-1 exhaust.... from subie doo, we PM'd back and fourth, i gave him my cell number, we txt'd then met up later that day and sold me the muffler, mid-pipe, and clamps for 300. I didn't use paypal, we simply met in person, he's a nice guy, i read this now and am really confused, i know 1 or 2 other socalsubie guys who bought some of his parts. Obviously you guys had polar opposite experiences with him lol; i just figured i would chime in and give you my story, good luck with your refunds guys, too bad he was scamming... or just too lazy.

hi guys,

I also bought rear top mounts from him and haven't heard from him in 7 days. Unfortunately, because of the way I sent the paypal funds, it won't let me dispute the funds online. Sube-Doo: come on man, any word on this? (I will be disputing this if I don't hear from you).

if i don't hear anything, u guys can add another 80 bucks to the list!

dam...i just read the thread where he got scammed at the age of 17, it sucked really bad. A good amount of us have felt disgusting feeling in the pit of our stomach when some crap happens like that... my question is why would you want to pass the feeling forward to another person? I certainly wouldn't want to be in his shoes when karma comes knocking...

He's definately not lazy, but a scammer. He's in LA and told me that he lived in the Norcal bay area. He said this because I told him that I would rather pick up the item if possible.

For the love of god people! Goto paypal and initiate a dispute, either online or via the phone. They know all about this guy and they are helping with the mail fraud case.

Furthermore: go onto the US postal service website and file a claim against himl. Even if you got your money back, what he is doing is still illegal!!!

Mods, You need to ban his IP address so he cannot continue to access this site!

He won't be able to reply as he has (occasionally) to this thread if we do. We are watching all the attempts at new usernames quite closely.

He took me for $300...opened a claim with paypal, they ruled in my favor; just waiting for my money.

You quoted the reason and then asked why? The scammer title should be a dead giveaway to avoid him like the plague- it's 4 times the size of a normal title and it's purple .

Really? I thought it was hilarious, classic even. He sounds like a complete moron.

You guys are some freaking hunters! And I'm glad to see vindication in this type of situation having been screwed in the past. Oh, dear internet.

I think the real lesson to be leanred here, aside that the internet is far from innocent, is that......

NEVER PAY WITHOUT PAYPAL. And add to the notes any and all information about the product, condition, and terms of sale.

This protects both YOU and the seller.
If you send some guy a check or money order...... then prepare to

It seems as if i was the one that was taken for the most money unfortunately. $850 to be exact. After talking with my fellow scammed we figured out the information posted earlier in this thread, even found 2 pics of the guy. I posed as a guy trying to sell him a UEL header and texted him for a few days straight, told him i was about to text him a pic of the header but rather sent one of himself to him haha. After that the tone changed a little, he was suspicious of me before i sent him the pic but afterwards he was a little more willing to text, acted like he didnt know the guy, then i told him his real name and that he owed me money. Told me the same story that paypal had it and sent me a screen shot.

I did get my money back but im 99% certain its only because of the claim, without it i would have had no hope. Which is why im ignoring his requests for me to help him clear his name up...and at the slight chance he's not scamming people and this was actually just an honest mistake, he still shouldnt be selling anything online. He claims he didnt reply to me online because he knew it was all bad anyways and whatever he said wouldnt make a difference, but he stopped answering my PM's before i filed a claim and before i posted anything. But it is now my strong belief that he was out for an easy score but us finding his address, income, home value, pictures, real name, and other information and then filing with paypal is the only reason we got our money back (probably more so to do with paypal) There were just too many people missing money and being "promised" refunds, especially when he had a WTB thread for a UEL header. Hope this guy gets what he deserves

Its good detective work like this that brings down douchebags like this scammer. I still encourage everyone to go onto the USPS website and file a mail fraud claim against this guy. The more people who file the claim, the more likely it'll get pushed throught he federal system.

The reality is, he is probably on every other car foum out there scamming away.

Well, late last night he PMed me.He ''wanted to come look at my Sparco seat'',
if he liked it,he said he ''would pay cash''.He never mentioned anything about shipping
etc... Huge purple warning under his username told me not to deal with him.
I never replied,I have put seat FS thread as ''sale pending ''anyway.
Just thought I would let you folks know... This predator is a night feeder, came into shallow water, however;no aggressive attempts to harm were evident.
