Nice. I need to get my car dyno'd there. CF: cheapest hp money can buy!

JK, congrats on the tune, enjoy

edit: on a side note, it does seem to hold up top pretty well. Pushing alot of timing up top?

I'm not sure what junior did with the timing but he did back off on the timing at the lower rpm. He said having a base wrx and not a STI he didn't feel confident advancing the timing anymore. If I did have a STI tranny or built tranny he said he could of gave me an extra 30 ft lbs of tq down low in the rpm band but neither one of us wanted to do that as this is my daily driver and I don't have money right now for a tranny upgrade. Junior was absolutly great and talked me through everything and I highly recomend him as a tuner. I drove 4.5 hours to see him and it was well worth the drive all day.

Cool, glad you are happy. I was curious about timing up top, more how he got the power to hold pretty well, seems like usually that comes from timing. Not a bad thing, more just a query/observation.

More timing would give you more down low, but the logic not to is sound. Doesnt change the fact that the curve you got is very smooth and extremely usable.

Yeah Junior did a wonderful job tuning the car. He makes you feel very compfortable when he's tuning your car by walking you through what steps he's taking and what he recomends for you car during the tuning process.

When my tuner pulled some timing down low it was more of a detonation/safe tune issue. I run about the same boost as you do. It's a nice, streetable tune.

Glad you are happy with the car!!

I tend to take it very easy on the low end with the 5spd cars. I dumb down AVCS and Timing to keep the trans happy...

Junior, I appreciate your honesty and integrity the way you took care of me and looked out for the saftey of my car. So it would cause damage in lower rpm by you adding the extra TQ that you could of done and put a blind eye to it but you didn't do it. Thanks again Junior for looking out for me and my car as my daily driver so I wouldn't damged the tranny by squezzing out a few extra lbs of TQ. I personally can't speak enough of good words of how you treated me and your shop as a tuner. You will be seeing me again when I build up my transmission. I have spread my experience with your shop 10 fold so I hope you do gain some more business by word of mouth and again I sincerly thankyou again.
