Default First Blizzard o' the Season!

Put my Blizzaks on the old girl Friday afternoon in anticipation of snow (and a ski trip) on Saturday!

Had an awesome day up in the Poconos skiing, but holy crapload the drive back towards Philly was hairy. Took twice as long (about 4 hours instead of 2) to get back due to the 20 inches of snow that fell while we were on the slopes!

Baja was AWESOME - sure footed through a good 10 inches of unplowed snow on the PA turnpike - no problem on the back roads!

Passed my twin on the turnpike early on (another pure silver Baja with bed extender). Only thing is guy was going like 20 mph - I mean, I thought I was being cautious but at 40 mph a couple of fwds even passed us (guess I was thinking they were as nutz as the other baja driver thought I was).

Anyway, be careful out there guys, but we sure have made a choice that can handle the snow, especially with some decent tires on there.

I know what you mean! I live in the "snow belt" south of Buffalo so I'm used to alot of snow(lake effect) and I love my Baja! I have Firestone Winterforce grabbers on my beast. I can't believe how many people rely on "All Season" tires.
When I pass people doing 30-40mph..... it puts a smile on my face!

I still have my origional tires at 44k. Needless to say saturdays snow informed me that this would be our last winter together (the bridgestones and I) so I'll be shopping through the summer to find something good.

The only good thing I have to say is that I was going full city blocks sideways
