looks like it was sold in India as a Chevrolet Forester when Chevy had a stake in Fuji Heavy Industries. Its the same case as the Toyota Cavalier in Japan.

i am so confused haha. listening to that lady was more than difficult, but wtf chevy=/forester.. but what was actually wrong with the car? engine i'm assuming.. if so, then it sucked in some of that 1 foot deep water i guess? how did this turn into a huge ordeal? if anything they should have granted a warranty to replace the motor, no? i dunno. weird.

I've driven through 2ft of water with no problem. I don't see how this guy manged to kill the car unless it leaked on the ECU or he was in more than a foot of water for a prolonged period of time. Subaru's are great in the water IMO.

All it takes is to get enough water in the engine to water lock it.

Not sure how I feel about the chevy forester....
